Variable message signs

Variable message signs are means of controlling and directing road traffic.They are mainly used in places where hign intensity of traffic occurs, or in sections with increased danger of accidents. They also play an important role in places which require a rapid redirection of traffic on diversion route in case of fire in the tunnel or in case of mass accident.

At present, they are increasingly used in temporary systems, for example road closures,  in case of reconstruction. Their use is also possible in places with temporary demand for traffic control such as the need to limit lorry overtaking etc. An example of this application is Line management in closures, the presentation is shown on the video on Home page of our website. 

Variable message signs and equipments for operational information must meet EN 12966-1 Variable vertical road traffic signs and TP 141 Principles for the variable traffic signage system and traffic information equipment on roads.
